What happens
United States Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride into the Utah forest lands and find a logger, Ben Potter, has been shot. Ben and his wife Emma were racing toward town to sign a lumber contract with Tim Raleigh before a rival could get it. Wild Bill and Jingles pursue the gunman and help the Potters reach town. Later they suspect a local operator, John Miggs, of cutting government timber, and they search for his campsite in the forest.
The forest lands of Utah, near a government timber stand and the town where the Raleigh Lumber Company is located.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
