What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles arrive at Chan Thomas's ranch after a fire breaks out on its edge, and they help put it out. Rancher Lance Duquesne then rides up, accusing Chan of starting the fire, and the two men nearly draw guns before Hickok steps in. Hickok and Jingles look into the bad blood between the two ranchers and the lawyer Oliver Golden. The series starred Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles, and this episode aired on June 4, 1952.
A rough Old West valley after the Civil War, including Chan Thomas's ranch and the town where Oliver Golden practices law.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
