What happens

Wild Bill Hickok, a United States Marshal, goes undercover as a stage driver for the Overland Stage Company at its Ratoon station after the line suffers repeated holdups and drivers keep quitting. His deputy, Jingles, is set to work as a stock tender there. At the station they meet the hostile manager, Red Moran, who grudgingly takes them on. Bill makes his first run to Santa Fe with shotgun messenger Roxy Mack, and as the trip goes on, he and Jingles begin to suspect that something is wrong at the station itself.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
