What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles stop at a schoolhouse in Kansas, where teacher Tom Dabney reports a bell ringing at night in the nearby Valley of Blue Light. Dabney says Indians in the valley blame him, and that a ghostly white horse rides the canyon rim with hoofbeats echoing through the valley. Tribal messages threaten Dabney, and Hickok and Dabney ride out to investigate. Back at the house, Jingles tries to keep Dabney's young son, G.D., calm while the riders are away. The series is Wild Bill Hickok, broadcast on May 14, 1952, with Guy Madison and Andy Devine in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
