What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles attend a land dispute hearing between Uncle Jeff Decker and Brad Bolton, whose cattle have been trespassing on Decker's property. When the courtroom erupts, Judge Thompson rules in Decker's favor and fines Bolton for contempt, and the marshal and Jingles escort the men out. Afterward Bolton's riders confront the lawmen outside, and tensions rise as Hickok takes control of the situation. Decker, worried about money, hopes to sell his cattle to a buyer named Fred Berry, while Bolton plots a scheme of his own. The story is a Wild Bill Hickok episode from 1952, broadcast on May 9 of that year, starring Guy Madison and Andy Devine.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
