What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride toward the town of Red Rock, where four men have been shot from ambush with an unusual 35-caliber rifle. Following a hunch in the dark, they find a lamp-lit cabin and a wounded man slumped over a table. Bill and Jingles work to keep him alive and send for a doctor, and they begin to suspect that the same killer is responsible for the earlier deaths. The episode is a Wild Bill Hickok adventure from the Kellogg's sponsored radio series, starring Guy Madison as Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles, and it is recorded in Hollywood. The original air date was December 15, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
