What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride into Brownsville, where a mayoral election has turned tense. Michael Shea, the honest candidate, is holed up in his store, while Rick Basher has closed the other side of the street and surrounded himself with gunmen. Bill and Jingles must navigate the town's divided streets and Basher's hired guns. The series, a Hollywood transcription starring Guy Madison and Andy Devine, first aired on December 13, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
