What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles investigate missing steers from the prized herd of rancher Red Tolman. Their search for the cattle thieves leads them to the Circle Bar Ranch and a clash with Brick Booker, whose range lies beyond a narrow pass. Suspicion falls on a cattle association clerk named Branley, and Bill sets a trap for the rustlers. The episode, broadcast in 1952 as part of the Wild Bill Hickok series starring Guy Madison and Andy Devine, follows the lawmen as they pursue the case across the cattle country.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
