What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles face trouble in the town of Round Tree when a letter arrives warning that rancher Thaddeus Morgan fears for his life. Shortly after the stagecoach from Boston arrives, a newcomer called the little dude is seized in broad daylight, and Hickok and Jingles ride out to the Morgan ranch. There they find Morgan dead and a nephew, Thaddeus Morgan III, who has just come from Boston. This episode of the Wild Bill Hickok series, broadcast in 1953 and starring Guy Madison and Andy Devine, follows the investigation as Hickok examines the bullets and the men who were on the ranch that day.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
