What happens

Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles receive a telegram that outlaw Bart Quincy is hiding in the Black Mountains near Buzzard Lake. At a remote trading post they learn that Quincy has been seen crossing the lake by canoe. A would-be assassin fires through the window, and Bill and Jingles give chase across the water toward an island where the outlaws are holed up. Their pursuit grows dangerous as shots come from the shore and the island, and the lawmen must decide how to reach the cabin and confront Quincy and his partner.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
