What happens

Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles pursue the men who robbed a Santa Fe stagecoach and killed its driver, a crime that has gone unsolved for months. Their search leads them to the railroad lands in a valley where Baxon and his partner are driving cattle, and to the prospector Two-Pick Teller, who has a claim of his own. Baxon is a dangerous and ruthless figure who threatens anyone who gets in his way. The Wild Bill Hickok radio series, starring Guy Madison as Hickok and Andy Devine as Jingles, aired on September 16, 1953. The episode is presented as a sponsored broadcast.

The Santa Fe trail and railroad lands in a valley, the surrounding hills, and a nearby town in the American West.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
