What happens

Wild Bill Hickok, a United States Marshal, looks into a flour-smuggling scheme in an Arizona cow town. Fred Stilson tells him that Duke Knuller has been stealing flour from freight wagons and selling it at inflated prices. When Stilson is shot through his window, Hickok and his friend Jingles take up the case. Carlotta, who runs a cafe in town and is fond of Jingles, becomes caught up in the trouble. Hickok and Jingles are the central figures of this Wild Bill Hickok radio adventure, the series' Kellogg's-sponsored episode from May 1952, starring Guy Madison and Andy Devine.

An Arizona cow town in the 1870s, including Carlotta's cafe, the Stilson homestead and a warehouse on the north end of town.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
