What happens

Charlie Odom is driving a herd of prized steers north to Dodge City, and he has sent for U.S. Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles to ride along. Glade Hiss and his brother Pete want to buy the herd cheaply, and when Charlie refuses, they threaten him and the trail drive. Hickok and Jingles follow the herd into a narrow canyon, where the riders must face the threat of rifle fire and explosives planted in the cliffs. The story is part of the Wild Bill Hickok radio series starring Guy Madison and Andy Divine, first broadcast on March 20, 1953.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
