What happens

Texas Ranger Tom Barnes rides into the Pecos country after Sylvia Martin asks for help. Her father, Judge Martin, has been jailed by Sheriff Caldwell for the shooting of his neighbor, Bart Williams, and Sylvia insists her father is innocent. Tom questions the sheriff, noting a series of deaths and forced ranch sales that have passed into the same syndicate's hands. Tom suspects a plot and sets out to gather proof. The Roy Rogers Show, a Goodyear program, presents this western story, which Roy Rogers tells with music and sponsor messages in the broadcast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
