What happens
Sam Carter, owner of the Red Horse Ranch in Wyoming, is weighing an offer to sell his outfit to Steve Bradford, who is pressing him for an answer. Carter has promised to wait a week at the request of his foreman, Alabama, whose recent behavior has begun to worry others. Sheriff Simpkins arrives at the ranch with news that the bank in Danville has filed a claim against the ranch's cattle herd over an unpaid loan. The sheriff leaves a herd on the property rather than driving it away, and he hints at rustling in the area. Carter's family and his cowhands are left uneasy about what the debt will mean for the ranch.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
