What happens

Red Horse Ranch is a radio serial following the people on Sam Carter's ranch as they face the threat of losing their cattle and home. Sheriff Simkins has tried to serve an attachment on the herd but has not yet succeeded. Alabama and Tenderfoot ride into Danville to check for a letter from an El Paso sheriff about a man named Bradford, after Alabama notices something odd about the horse Red. Meanwhile the hands gather to sing and play guitar, and Idaho tells a story about losing his job on the Running W because of rattlesnakes. The listener hears the ranch hands' easy camaraderie against the growing worry over the ranch's future.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
