What happens

The cowboys of the Red Horse Ranch prepare music for a barn dance in honor of Rose Carter, the owner's daughter, who has just returned from school. In the bunkhouse they sing and joke, and Rose visits to hear them play. Afterward Rose walks out with Alabama to see a wild colt the ranch has recently acquired, which the boys have named Red. Rose asks Alabama about her father, who she feels has seemed troubled since she left. Alabama says nothing is wrong and changes the subject. The boys then agree that there may be trouble at the ranch, though none of them knows what it is, and they decide to turn to their work and the dance.

The Red Horse Ranch, including the bunkhouse, the ranch grounds and a trail where the horses are kept.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
