What happens
Dewey Dawson, son of the slain outlaw Trigger Dawson, now lives on the Red Horse Ranch with the ranch hands. Alabama questions Dewey about the night two strangers tried to carry him off, but the boy says he cannot identify them and does not know why they came. Tex and the other hands join the talk while Dewey plays mumblety-peg. Sheriff Simka rides up searching for two cattle rustlers who broke out of jail at Roaring River, and the ranch men react with suspicion as he asks questions about the stranger's trail. Alabama and the sheriff discuss the danger of having an outlaw's son on the ranch, and the episode closes with the two escaped men named as the would-be kidnappers.
The Red Horse Ranch, at night and then in the daytime near the ranch house, with the nearby town of Roaring River as the source of the escaped outlaws.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
