What happens
Red Horse Ranch follows the crew of the Red Horse outfit. Dad Carter has told the boys that selling the Red Horse herd will carry the ranch through another year. Alabama suspects oil may lie beneath the ranch and keeps a close watch on the roan horse Red, which has been slipping out at night. Tenderfoot is assigned to shadow Red after the moon rises. Meanwhile the bunkhouse hands sing and joke about courting Rose and about a wild Arkansas mule. The episode ends with Alabama and Tenderfoot setting out to follow the horse into the hills.
