What happens

Alabama is knocked out in the back room of a Danville saloon by one of Steve Bradford's men, and rustlers drive off the entire Red Horse herd. The next day Bradford tells Sam Carter that he saw Alabama drunk in the saloon, and Carter orders the Red Horse hands to stay at the ranch. The men feel Alabama needs help and worry about a letter he received in Danville. Tenderfoot, Idaho, Arizona and Slim grow restless while waiting for news, and they ride out in search of Alabama against Carter's orders. Carter is skeptical of their loyalty, but the search brings Alabama back to the ranch, marked from the whipping he took and sure of who was behind the rustling.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
