What happens
On a moonlit night at the Red Horse Ranch, the cowhands gather near the bunkhouse and swap stories about the women they have known. Cookie and Arizona trade memories of sweethearts named Luisa, Gertie and Mamie, while the others tease them and call for songs. Talk turns to the ranch's troubles, and Cheyenne reminds the men that they have survived hard times before. The group then sings together, and the evening ends on a hopeful note.

Characters: Cookie, Arizona, Idaho, Tex, Alton, Cheyenne, Alabama, Bob
Listen for: Arizona's reminiscing about Luisa, Gertie and Mamie, and the men's song 'The Good Old Times Are Coming Back Again'
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
