What happens

Sheriff Simpkins has been unable to serve an attachment on Sam Carter's cattle on the Red Horse Ranch, and the ranch hands gather for music and talk. Idaho tells a story about losing his job on the Running W outfit after a run-in with rattlesnakes while fencing with Tom Burns. Alabama, who has been watching the horse Red, confides in Carter and reports his suspicions about Bradford, and he and Carter plan to write to Danville for news from an El Paso sheriff. The boys hope something will happen to save the ranch, and the episode closes with Alabama having only a few days left to learn the truth about Bradford.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
