What happens

On the Red Horse Ranch, rustlers stampede and drive off much of Mr. Carter's herd on the last night of the roundup. Alabam and the other hands want to pursue them, but Steve Bradford, temporarily in charge of the outfit, orders them to turn back. With the herd reduced, Mr. Carter faces creditors and the risk of losing the ranch. Bradford offers to buy the property at his earlier price, and Alabam grows suspicious of him. Alabam decides to write to the sheriff of El Paso about Bradford's past dealings, while a storm gathers over the ranch.

The Red Horse Ranch, during and after a roundup, with the ranch house, the bunkhouse, and the surrounding range in a rainstorm.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
