What happens
Red Horse Ranch is a Western drama about the ranch's yearly roundup. The boss, Mr. Carter, has told Alabam to stay behind on the ranch while his injury heals, and Steve Bradford, the foreman, will lead the outfit in his place. Alabam has not told Mr. Carter that Bradford was responsible for his head injury. Rose, Carter's daughter, watches the cowhands ride out and wishes she could go along. Alabam later meets with Red, and the men begin to suspect that Bradford is up to something, since he has been trying to buy up ranches in the valley, including Red Horse. The episode ends as the men ride out with the herd.
