What happens
On the Red Horse Ranch, the cowhands wait for supper while Alabama is away. Alabama has ridden out to look into Steve Bradley, a newcomer who is buying up land throughout the country, and the others speculate about his reasons. Arizona boasts that he can ride Red, the wild horse Alabama has trained, and ignores Alabama's warning. Cookie is slow with the meal, and the men pass the time with songs while they wait. Arizona tries to ride Red, is thrown hard, and is left battered and sore. The episode ends with the crew teasing Arizona and noting that Red is a one-man horse. Steve Bradley's motives remain unexplained.

Listen for: Arizona's attempt to ride Red, and the men's talk about what Steve Bradley is doing with the land.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
