What happens

On the Red Horse Ranch, the rodeo at Danville goes wrong for Alabam when his horse loses the first race after someone places cactus under its saddle blanket. Alabam and the Red Horse cowboys suspect Steve Bradford, who later wins that race. The ranch crew still shines in other events, with Bob winning the open contest and Tex staying on a wild horse. Idaho then finds that his silver horse has a split hoof and cannot run in the final race, so he asks Alabam to ride Red in his place.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
