What happens

Alabam, a ranch hand on the Red Horse Ranch, has found oil on the land after noticing oil on the fetlocks of his horse, Red. Mr. Carter and his daughter Rose sign an oil lease with Mr. Niles, a representative of an Eastern oil company, who has tested the ranch. The ranch hands gather to celebrate and hear Alabam explain how he discovered the oil. The story then turns to Bradford, a neighbor who has been trying for months to buy the ranch, and to a confrontation with Steve Radford, who arrives with a proposal to close the deal. Mr. Carter also reluctantly considers bringing Trigger Dawson's son to the ranch.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
