Paladin is hired by the Honorable Diana Coulter, an English woman, to guide her from San Francisco to Shiprock, Arizona, where she plans to live with her brother on his ranch. As they begin their journey through the rough Arizona territory, the proper and aristocratic Diana proves to be both demanding and resourceful, carrying a Martini Henry rifle and insisting on proper conduct from her American guide.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
