San Francisco in 1875, primarily at the Carlton Hotel and the waterfront district known as Finn Alley
Characters: Paladin, Hey Boy, Miss Wong, Linda, Mammy King
Listen for: A tense investigation into the criminal underworld of San Francisco's waterfront, where young women are trafficked and sold into servitude; Paladin's confrontation with Mammy King and his discovery of Miss Wong's location.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
