What happens

Paladin is hired by a wealthy mine owner to investigate mysterious disturbances at a silver mine in Virginia City, Nevada. After a fire broke out in the mine and killed several workers, the surviving miners refuse to return to work, claiming they hear groaning and laughing and feel phantom hands around their necks. The mine owner believes the superstitious workers are spooked by ghosts, but Paladin suspects something more sinister is at play.
