What happens

Paladin is hired by a music company to find Professor Oscar Ailes and his niece Elsa, who have gone missing in Arizona while selling harmoniums. He encounters them fleeing from pursuers and learns that renegade Apache half-breeds led by a man named Chivaro have been raiding the territory. Marshal Bone and his Indian scouts are tracking Chivaro, and Paladin agrees to help escort the professor and his niece to safety.

Arizona Territory, 1875. A rough desert road and an armed camp in the wilderness.

Characters: Paladin, Hey Boy, Mr. Alonso, Professor Oscar Ailes, Elsa Ailes, Marshal John Bone, Chivaro

Listen for: The unusual contrast between the refined music of Elsa's harmonium performance and the dangerous wilderness setting, as the enchanting music threatens to distract the guards from their duty to watch for Chivaro's renegades.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
