What happens

Paladin travels to El Paso to meet with his old friend Mel McCleary, a lawyer who has been burdened by guilt. Years ago, McCleary prosecuted a man named Wiley Dawson for a Wells Fargo holdup and murder, but Dawson has recently been exonerated when another man confessed to the crime. McCleary asks Paladin to find the fugitive Dawson, who has been living as a hunted man for years, so that McCleary can try to make amends. Paladin's search leads him south across the border to a small Mexican town where he begins to track down clues about Dawson's whereabouts.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
