What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles stop a runaway team driven by a boy and a girl, Bob Tillery and Jenny. The children explain that their father has found silver in a mine behind their farm and must file the claim in town, but two riders have been shooting at them. Bill takes charge of the children's safety as the pursuit grows more dangerous on the road. The story is part of the Wild Bill Hickok radio series, first broadcast on December 4, 1953, with Guy Madison as Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles.

The Old West, on a wagon road near a farm and a narrow pass leading into town

Characters: Wild Bill Hickok, Jingles, Bob Tillery, Jenny, Mr. Jinks

Listen for: The gunfight in the narrow pass between the rocks, and the confrontation over the silver claim in town

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
