What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles travel to the White Mountains to help rancher Sunshine Smith, whose cattle are being raided by a grizzly bear. That night the bear attacks the pens and injures a hired hand, Ollie, then a shot rings out from the ranch house, where the cook Chico claims he shot a bear that reached through the window and stole the ranch's cattle money. Bill doubts his story and begins to investigate the footprints and the missing money, and suspicion begins to fall on the ranch's own men. The episode is a Wild Bill Hickok adventure from the series, with Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Divine as Jingles, first broadcast on 9 February 1953.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
