What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles travel to a timber camp run by Scotty Wilburn, where a string of accidents has been slowing the logging. Scotty owes money on his timber contract to Blaze Johnson, who holds the mortgage on his equipment and leases. Bill and Jingles ride a pair of chained logs down the flume, come under gunfire from the trees, and then pay a visit to Johnson's sawmill, where they confront him and his men. The story is part of the Wild Bill Hickok radio series, broadcast in 1954, starring Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
