What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles find a strange map hidden under Jingles' saddle, marked with a warning to hide stolen goods before the lawmen find them. A man in a red shirt fires on them twice in town, and the sheriff confirms a string of recent bank robberies in the county. The map seems to show Horseshoe Meadows, and the trio rides into the mountains to search for a hideout. The episode is from the Wild Bill Hickok series, first aired October 20, 1954, with Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles.

The Old West: a frontier town, its sheriff's office, and the rocky mountains around Horseshoe Meadows, including an old Indian cave.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
