What happens

United States Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his partner Jingles investigate a series of night raids by masked riders who burn homesteaders' farms in the valley. After a chase ends with a captured raider, the pair learn that the homesteaders' farms are mortgaged to the town banker, and a rumor suggests a railroad may be coming through. Wild Bill sets a trap in Charlie Silvers' kitchen, using the homesteaders' collected money as bait to draw out the raiders.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
