What happens

Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles, the United States Marshals of Santa Fe, investigate a string of counterfeit silver dollars after a widow, Mrs. Brown, finds that the coins she deposited at the bank are fake. Their search leads them to a former convict, Cash Royal, who was sent to prison four years earlier for counterfeiting. Along the way the lawmen come under gunfire from an unseen rifleman, and their horse Joker proves useful. The episode is part of the Wild Bill Hickok series, which starred Guy Madison and Andy Devine, and it aired on December 27, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
