What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles are riding back to Santa Fe with papers when they stop for a swim in a river. A young outlaw known as the Panhandle Kid holds them at gunpoint, takes their horses and guns, and insists he did not commit the stagecoach express robbery he has been accused of. The lawmen begin to doubt the sheriff's case and trace the robbery toward the Bluebird Mine, where the manager, Glazer, becomes the focus of their suspicions. This episode of the Wild Bill Hickok series, first broadcast on February 12, 1954, stars Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles. The story follows their search for the truth behind the robbery.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
