What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles pursue a gang of bank robbers after Grandpa Granger, a retired sheriff whose memory is failing, mistakenly believes bandits are holding up the bank and fires his guns on Main Street. The episode is part of the Wild Bill Hickok series, first aired on May 15, 1953, and stars Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as Jingles. Grandpa's confusion turns out to be connected with a real robbery, and the lawmen follow the gang's trail into Boulder Canyon. There, they face gunfire from the rocks and a landslide while Grandpa tries to help in his own way. The story is told in a loose, comic adventure style, with Grandpa's stories about past outlaws mixed in along the way.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
