What happens
US Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles are hunting Josh Grandlin, a smooth-talking swindler selling gold stock in town. Young Billy, who wants to be a deputy, offers information in exchange for a junior badge, and the marshals receive a lead about Grandlin's whereabouts. Grandlin's accomplice Draco keeps watch as Grandlin works on his scheme, and the stock sale draws a crowd of eager buyers. Wild Bill and Jingles pursue the telegraph trail and the suspicious goings-on around the town, gathering clues as the case develops. The series, first aired May 13, 1953, stars Guy Madison and Andy Devine.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
