What happens
Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride a thousand miles to the Mexican border to help their friend Tom Daley sell his worked-out Silver Bell mine to the shady Ace Clark for five thousand dollars. On the trail they find a freight wagon hauling what appear to be boxes of bar silver stamped with the mine's name. Confronting Clark at the mine office, the marshals are suspicious of the buyer's motives and his foreman Pete. The story is part of the Wild Bill Hickok radio series, starring Guy Madison and Andy Devine, and the broadcast is from April 25, 1952.
The Old West, along a road in Texas near the Mexican border, the Silver Bell mine office, and the town of Laredo.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
