What happens
Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles ride into Mossy Bend after a long trip across the Arizona desert. A sheriff is shot down in the street while holding a letter, and the letter is addressed to rancher Millard Weston. The lawmen ride out to the Weston ranch to deliver it, only to be fired upon by Weston's daughter Rosemary. They find her father dead in the parlor, and Rosemary reveals that her father had a brother named Rack who was sent to prison and may be coming west. Guy Madison plays Wild Bill and Andy Devine plays Jingles in this Wild Bill Hickok episode, which aired on September 12, 1952.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
