What happens

Notorious gunman John Elliot Bascom escapes from the Livo County Jail early on the morning of June 23rd, 1947, after overpowering the deputy on duty. Texas Ranger Jase Pearson arrives to investigate and quickly learns that Bascom has stolen a red pickup truck from a farmer along Route 7. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
