What happens
The Sick Shooter finds a wounded man in the snow high in the mountains. The stranger reveals he's a wanted outlaw with a price on his head who shot a stagecoach driver during a holdup, and he's desperate because his horse went lame and a posse is after him. Britt must decide whether to turn him in for the reward or help him reach a doctor.
A snowy mountainside near Sunset, in the western territories.
Characters: Britt Ponset (The Sick Shooter), The wounded outlaw, Scar (Britt's horse)
Listen for: The tense gunfight on the hillside and the moral dilemma that follows when Britt discovers his wounded opponent's true identity.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
