What happens

Rick Pumphritt, a drifter heading toward Lead Craig, finds a wounded young man lying unconscious beside the trail and brings him to a nearby cabin. There he encounters Jenny, a rough-talking woman living alone who tends to the stranger's injury while Rick tries to understand who the wounded man is and what happened to him.
