What happens

Britt Ponset stops in the town of Elk Point, where he finds it eerily quiet and learns that an outlaw named Stacy Gault has been robbing banks in the territory. A local posse led by Ed Scott has formed to capture Gault, who was last seen riding through the canyons nearby. With most of the town's able-bodied men out hunting the criminal, Sadie Benson hopes Britt will stay for supper and perhaps help defend the town if needed.
