What happens
Alabama Jones and the boys at Red Horse Ranch are keeping watch over Dewey Dawson, the son of the slain outlaw Trigger Dawson. Two outlaws from the old Dawson gang have escaped jail in Roaring River, and the ranch hands recall that strangers tried to take Dewey away in the night. Alabama questions Dewey alone about why the men wanted him, but the boy says he knows nothing of his father's affairs. Sheriff Simms then rides up in search of the escaped rustlers, and the ranch hands tell him what happened the night before. The episode is part of the Red Horse Ranch series.
