What happens
Life on the Red Horse Ranch centers on young Dewey Dawson, who has gradually won the friendship of the ranch hands, along with Rose and Dad Carter. One evening the boys gather on the veranda of the ranch house to sing for Rose, while Dad Carter listens from the steps and talks about the oil that may be found on the property and the drilling plans. Later, Dewey is grabbed in the dark by unidentified men, and the boys rush to help him. Dewey says the men knew him and told him he had to go with them. The episode ends with the outfit uneasy about what the attackers wanted.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
