What happens

On the Red Horse Ranch, Dad Carter announces that selling the herd will keep the ranch afloat for another year. Alabama has noticed the roan horse Red slipping out at night and suspects there may be oil on the land, so he asks Tenderfoot to keep watch. The cowhands sing and trade jokes in the bunkhouse while Tenderfoot, somewhat lovestruck over Rose, waits for the moon to rise. Alabama spends the evening in the corral, and the men discuss rustling and a missing outlaw's loot. The horse finally jumps the fence, and Alabama and Tenderfoot ride out after him into the hills by moonlight.

The Red Horse Ranch, its bunkhouse, corral and the surrounding hills, under a full moon.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
